The Kukonda is made from recycled coffee sacks that have been donated to us from our coffee roaster supporters, then handcrafted in Malawi by fairly paid tailors. The coffee sacks come in all shapes and sizes with different designs printed on them making each bag unique. Our traditionally styled duffel is perfect for an overnight stay, helping to carry the shopping or using at college. You can sling it over your shoulder, or split the rope drawstring to make a back-pack which is perfect for cycling. The inner tube base and flap protect your stuff from showers, while the double layered coffee sack which is fully lined with eye catching “Chitenge” a wax-printed 100% cotton, makes for a super strong bag.
