Healthy food & convenience

Each family who skis with Highlife enjoys an unrivalled level of pre-departure care because you are assigned your own holiday coordinator who will not only organise all your ski packs and childcare, but will spend time to understand exactly what you would like your children to eat.

All your requirements will be recorded and sent to your chalet chef before you even travel so that they can prepare for your arrival. While this means that your chef will have time to plan a suitable menu, they will check in with you again when you first arrive to confirm that you are happy with their plan.

A big difference of holidaying with Highlife is that your children will enjoy nutritious food, prepared from fresh ingredients. We have devised a healthy and tasty children’s menu which your chef will be happy to adapt to suit you.

Many parents travelling with children prefer them to eat a little earlier so we are happy to serve their meals between 6pm and 7pm.

Your chef will serve the children a 2-course evening meal which consists of a main course and a dessert. Should you also wish for your children to eat a starter, please advise your holiday coordinator or your chef.

Please note that on your arrival night your chef will serve a chicken dinner with vegetables, potatoes & gravy - your holiday coordinator will discuss this with you.

Chicken Goujons, Roast Chicken, Chicken Noodles. 

Lasagne, Spaghetti Bolognese, Beef Bourguignon, Homemade Burgers.
White Fish Goujons, Salmon fillet.
Homemade Pizzas.
Pasta & Tomato sauce, Pesto Pasta, Chicken/Chorizo Pasta, Butter Pasta with Bacon. 
Peas, Mange Tout, Broccoli, Sweetcorn, Carrots, Ratatouille – please let your chef know what your children would like
Yoghurts, Ice Cream, Creme Brulee, Sticky Toffee Pudding, Fruit
Fruit Juices are readily available, and carbonated drinks are left out of children’s reach. We have plenty so please let your host know if you would like your children to have them or not
