Highlife Ski Discovery Tours - Val d'Isere Programme
Each session has a colour rating. Blue is suitable for improver/intermediate levels and above, Blue & Red sessions will be mainly on Blue but with a few Red runs necessary, so for lower intermediate levels and above, and Red is for intermediate or advanced levels with lots of Red runs in the circuit. We also have other self-guided routes for all levels that you can do at any time that suits you.
We have route maps covering a lot of these huge ski areas, along with contact numbers to book your lunch, where the best views are and even the short cuts home if the going gets too tough or the weather turns!
Val d’Isere programme
Our team will discuss the route with you before you head off. All times given are based on an intermediate skiers pace so you might be a lot faster or slower than that!
The routes we have planned for you are as follows (all times given are based on an intermediate skiers pace so you might be a lot faster or slower than that!):
Le Fornet Tour (3.5 hour circuit) – Discover the peace and pistes of Le Fornet. We will have you up to 3100m minutes after leaving the chalet and skiing some of the best pistes in the Alps. Then it’s onto the famous Up & Over chairlift (you won’t forget it!) and ski back to the town centre for lunch or to meet friends.
Blue Bellevarde Tour (2 hour circuit) - Starting from the town centre you will go up the Olympic lift and ski over towards Tignes on lovely long blues.
The famous Highlife Espace Killy Experience! (7 hour circuit) - 75km on your skis/snowboard to the edges of the ski area and back. A day to be remembered but only for good skiers/snowboarders as you will be a long way from home if you get stuck, and a very expensive taxi ride!
